Dawn FitzGerald Atelier is an Irish couture design house specialising in evening wear and bridal gowns.
The label was established in 2008 with the aim of creating the most beautiful, feminine and elegant gowns. Each gown is handmade in our studio to the client's individual specifications by a team of specialists with a wealth of knowledge and a passion for creating something special. Only the finest quality fabrics are used, sourced from around the world.
The label first started retailing in Ireland and Asia. The success of this led to the opening of the first DFA salon in Dublin in 2011. With an increasing client base commissioning bridal gowns, 2013 saw the launch of the DFA Couture Bridal Collection.
Each piece is lovingly created to meet our clients needs and to reflect their personalities in the particular piece they choose.
Dawn FitzGerald Atelier gowns have featured in every Irish fashion magazine as well as in international fashion publications. We have dressed strong, beautiful women from all over the world for special occasions. Clients include Suzanne McAuley (producer of Love/Hate), Danielle Ryan ( when launching ROADS perfume in Florence ), former Miss World Rosanna Davison on her wedding day, and Amy Huberman for the IFTAS. DFA dresses have also appeared on screen, most recently on Suki Waterhouse in the Celia Ahern film "Love Rosie".
